        17 CAR § 285-701. Expirations and renewals.

        (a)(1) License certificates for professional engineers shall expire biennially.

                (2) The Director of the State Board of Licensure for Professional Engineers and Professional Surveyors will mail to every licensee a notice showing the:

                        (A) Date of the expiration of said license; and

                        (B) Fee required for renewal.

                (3) Such notice will be mailed to the licensee at the licensee’s last known address at least one (1) month in advance of the date of the expiration of said certificate.

                (4) It is the responsibility of each licensee to notify the board, in writing, of a change of address.

        (b)(1) License certificates for professional surveyors shall expire biennially.

                (2) The director will mail to every licensee a notice showing the:

                        (A) Date of the expiration of said license; and

                        (B) Amount of the fee required for its renewal.

                (3) Such notice shall be mailed to the licensee at the licensee’s last known address at least one (1) month before the expiration date.

                (4) It is the responsibility of each licensee to notify the board, in writing, of a change of address.

        (c)(1) License certificates of dual registrants shall expire biennially.

                (2) The director will mail to every licensee a notice showing the:

                        (A) Date of the expiration of said license; and

                        (B) Amount of the fee required for its renewal.

                (3) Such notice shall be mailed to the licensee at the licensee’s last known address at least one (1) month before the expiration date.

                (4) It is the responsibility of each licensee to notify the board, in writing, of a change of address.

        (d)(1) Certificates of authority shall expire biennially.

                (2) The director will mail to every firm and licensee not operating as a sole proprietorship a notice showing the:

                        (A) Date of the expiration of said license; and

                        (B) Amount of the fee required for its renewal.

                (3) Such notice shall be mailed to the licensee at the licensee’s last known address at least (1) one month before the expiration date.

                (4) It is the responsibility of each licensee to notify the board, in writing, of a change of address.

        (e) Late penalty for renewals shall be as described in 17 CAR § 285-401 et seq.
