2 CAR § 193-101. Generally.
(a) All live poultry destined for delivery in Arkansas must have a valid health certificate showing an Arkansas entry permit number.
(b) Dayold baby chicks and poults will be allowed to enter Arkansas with an NPIP form VS-9-3 in lieu of a health certificate and will be exempt from permit number requirement.
(c) All live poultry transporting vehicles entering the State of Arkansas must bear a valid Certificate of Cleanliness and Disinfection.
(d) If point of origin is in Arkansas, the vehicle must have a certificate showing it has been cleaned and disinfected in a sister state prior to re-entry into Arkansas.
(e) The health certificate and Certificate of Cleanliness and Disinfection must be signed by the state or federal veterinarian or his or her designee and shall contain the language and information prescribed below.
(f) All live poultry transporting vehicles entering the State of Arkansas must report to an official weigh station to show health certificates and/or Certificate of Cleanliness and Disinfection.
(g) Any poultry or poultry transporting vehicle not having the appropriate certificate will be barred from entering the state.
(h) Live poultry and transportation equipment owned and controlled by poultry companies in Arkansas may be exempted from these restrictions upon issuance of a permit or decal.
